FAQ
Here you will find answers to frequently asked questions from traders.
General questions
Digital options are a type of financial derivative linked to an underlying asset such as stocks, currencies, commodities, or indices.
Unlike standard options, a digital option provides a predetermined payout based on whether the asset’s price moves in the predicted direction within a fixed time frame.
These options are purchased at a set price, so the potential profit or loss is known in advance.
Digital options also have a defined expiration time, which determines when the trade concludes.
Even if the price changes significantly, a correct prediction always results in a fixed payout, limiting your risk to the amount invested in the option.
When placing a digital option trade, you select an underlying asset to base your prediction on.
Essentially, buying a digital option is a bet on the direction of the asset’s price movement.
Common types of underlying assets include:
- Shares of major global companies
- Currency pairs like EUR/USD, GBP/USD
- Commodities and precious metals such as gold and oil
- Market indices like S&P 500, Dow Jones, or Dollar Index
Selecting an asset relies on your knowledge, market analysis, and intuition. There is no universal choice that guarantees success.
Digital options are one of the simplest derivative instruments. Trading them does not require predicting exact price levels of the asset.
The focus is only on predicting the price direction — whether it will rise or fall by the contract’s expiration.
The magnitude of the price change is irrelevant; only the direction matters. If your forecast is correct, you earn a fixed payout.
To earn consistently, you need to accurately predict the price movement of the chosen asset.
- Develop trading strategies that maximize the number of correct predictions and adhere to them.
- Spread your risk by trading multiple assets or strategies.

A trading platform is software that enables Clients to execute trades with various financial instruments. It also provides real-time market data, quotes, and Company actions.
In digital options, a trade can have three outcomes:
1) If your prediction is correct, you receive a fixed payout.

Financial questions
The amount of profit you can earn depends on several key factors:
- The market demand and liquidity of the selected asset — higher liquidity often results in better payouts

- Market movements influenced by news events, economic data, and asset-specific developments
You don’t need to manually calculate your profit.
